Why Use My Services?

image Most all work today is digital, although most illustration which I do has its start as tissue drawings, also known as roughs, sketches or layouts. First I get approval from you, the client and adjust the ideas as needed until you are satisfied with the look and feel of the roughs. From there I go to finished development of the design or illustration

"Will I be satisfied with the final product, and get what I really want?"

Yes you will. That's why I've been in business for 20 years with lots of repeat business, I have worked with some clients that whole 20 years, I aim to please. Just like when you work with a contractor on a house or any other business application. I make sure I'm very clear on what you want before beginning. Then I show incremental progress to ensure that we're always on track. I provide online proofing on my server or directly e-mailed .pdf files to provide the quality and gradual progression of the job so if there was something you did not like we could alter it and then move on to the agreed changes.

Bio

image I am originally from Iowa, educated at Colorado State University, where I majored in their BFA Graphic Design program with a minor in marketing. My earlier training came working for a civil engineering firm called Schenk Engineering, where I worked as a drafter. I learned the basics including the uses of Rapidograph drafting pens, electric erasers and the physical effort of a field assistant. I had the pleasure of hauling all of the surveying equipment, including the rather heavy but trusty transit theodolite up hill and over dale to wherever its services were needed.

Currently, I work as a freelance artist on a contract/no contract basis for most of my clients. Feel free to email or call to discuss any proposals you may be thinking about.
